Chris (aka CJ’s Jumpin Boogie) has been buying and spinning records for over 40 years. He is a passionate 78’s and 45’s record collector and travels internationally to record fairs. He is often found knee deep in dark dusty basements looking for hidden gems to buy, and gets real pleasure out of finding rare 40’s and 50’s music.
Chris has been DJ’ing rhythm and blues, Western swing and Rockabilly for as long as he can remember and has a real ear for keeping the dance floor moving.
Chris is also the co-organiser of the Rhythm Room in Leicester and has DJ’d at some of the top weekend events such as the Rhythm Riot, The Atomic and various other clubs around the country.
